    CONSTRUCTION: Made with nylon-coated steel wire, 100% natural hazelwood, wooden beads, and silver plated zinc clasp (lobster style opening) or a stainless steel clasp (barrel twist opening) with a safety release (chose your preferred clasp style in the dropdown menu).     Love these for kids' eczema

    This clears up our kids' mild eczema like a charm. Fantastic and can't believe for the price and convenience of it all the efficacy it has proven for us. SO grateful. I tell everyone all the time about both the baltic amber and the hazelwood from this company.

    9 month old broke it

    Caught my 9 month old chewing on her bracelet. Broke the wire.

    Hi Payton, thanks for writing, this helps highlight a very important issue of how these items are used. It's important not to place a necklace or anklet around the wrist of a very little one for this exact reason as they are likely to place it in their mouths, which is both a choking hazard and also not something they were designed to withstand. This also is why we do not offer a bracelet style for children. If they are very little, we recommend using an anklet or doubling a necklace around their leg under their clothing (needs good skin contact and keeps it out of their hands and mouth).

    It sounds like in this case the safety mechanism pulled open. If you email us at contact@hazelaid.com we can get you set up with an at-cost replacement (or even a free replacement if it turns out there was a defect of some kind, please send us a photo of the point where the wire came open).

    Broken clasp

    Not satisfied with quality

    I bought these teething necklaces for my 22 month old & 6 year old. They both broke within a couple of days.

    Game Changer

    My 4 year old has eczema that has been getting worse as he gets older, to the point of needing steroids. We already do as many things natural as possible, and it was still flaring up. I remembered a friend had told me about these hazelwood necklaces helping her kids so I bought him the anklet to try. He’s had it on for two days so far and his skin is almost all cleared up! I chose the anklet so he could put a sock over it. They aren’t allowed necklaces or bracelets at preschool, and he’s a very active kid. Thank you for having the anklet as an option! I will continue to buy and recommend these.
