    CONSTRUCTION: Bracelets on elastic (no clasp). Necklaces & anklets on cotton string, knotted between each bead, with a plastic twist clasp. Earrings have silver-plated nickel clasps. Typical bead size 4-5mm, but can range from 3 to 7mm, most necklaces taper slightly in bead diameter towards the ends. As always exact bead color and shape can vary slightly. These are handmade, size is within 1/2 inch. Lead-free.

    Best quality

    We have bought these for every child. Our teen needed a new necklace and we knew exactly where to go. I recommend hazelaid to everyone who asks. Our daughter was days old when we bought her first amber necklace and now turned 12 and needed a larger. Great quality.

    LOVE IT!

    My eczema got worse.

    I ordered the ambernecklace, bracelet and anklet. It made my eczema worse. I heard about Hazelaid from a friend that had a necklace for her daughter's eczema. I asked her if the eczema got worse before it got better. She told me she had ordered a wooden necklace. I might try one of those.

    Thanks for writing and I'm very sorry to hear that happened. Indeed Baltic amber is NOT for eczema, it helps with things like pain & inflammation. Apologies for any confusion on that point.

    Hazelwood is effective for eczema in about 70% of cases, so indeed it is very worth trying. Make sure it gets good 24/7 skin contact for about three weeks straight to know for sure if it's going to make a difference. It also helps if it gets wet every day or two (wearing in the bath or shower is OK, just no pools due to the chemicals).
