    CONSTRUCTION: Safety release, cotton string knotted between each bead, plastic amber-colored twist clasp or pop clasp (choose your preferred clasp style along with the size in the dropdown below). Typical bead size 3-4mm, most necklaces taper slightly in bead diameter towards the ends. Exact bead color and shape can vary slightly. These are handmade, size is within 1/2 inch.     Quick question

    I just ordered this necklace for my almost 4 month old. I measured his neck & I measured just a hair loose & got 12 inches so I ordered the 12 inch. If the necklace is too tight when I recieve it, what should I do?

    Hi Lauren, thanks for writing! You can usually add a small amount of length by taking the ends of the necklace into your palms and gently pulling. Don't pull on the clasps themselves or they can break off (safety measure). The knots between the beads usually have a bit more give to them.
