Not enough options

Love this brand, but I have a tiny kid. I need an 11inch and the one we got before from here was pop clasp as that's the only option that small. It was lost within a week from my son taking it off to play. I have to buy more expensive, inferior products instead.

Hi Savannah,

Thanks very much for the feedback, and I'm sorry that yours was lost. :/ If ever that happens you can contact us about getting a replacement 'at-cost' (about 40% off retail) as we don't want people to go without their amber or hazelwood just because it was lost, or profit off of them having to buy another one for no other reason.

That said, it is very helpful for to hear that you're looking for 11' Baltic amber with twist clasps (instead of pop clasps). We've had this request MANY times and JUST a few weeks ago we added our first ones in Super Butter and Honey, so maybe just before your last order. :(

We don't have any in dark green yet but we do want to get some 'boy-friendly' colors in there so we'll be hitting that one next. In the mean time the best shot is probably for the super-affordable Honey one, which is pretty gender neutral. :) You can find it here: https://hazelaid.com/collections/baltic-amber-for-children/products/baltic-amber-honey-economy-price?variant=7509121073218

And again, please contact us if you'd be at all interested in getting a discount on a replacement for the lost item. It sounds like maybe you already replaced it elsewhere, but just in case.

Thanks again, and please email us at contact@hazelaid.com if there is anything else we can do!

too Short

We ordered one of these for my 7 year old but it is too short. Is there anyway I could mail it back and get the size up from 14"? My son says its too tight on his neck and wants to keep taking it off. I finally told him to take it off so he doesn't break it .

Yes that's no problem, please email us at contact@hazelaid.com to arrange for an exchange. :)

Allergic

My family and I try our hardest to avoid all the unhealthy and unnatural things in our world today so when I heard about this necklace I jumped on board and got this one for my 4 month old baby who has been teething and very fussy unfortunately he had some kind of allergy to the necklace he got a rash all over his chest of little red bumps and his neck was just all red where the necklace touched so I'm pretty upset this didn't work out for us now I just freeze my breast milk in a bottle nipple and he munches on that

Hi Angela,

Thanks very much for writing us and I'm so sorry to hear about the rash. :/ We've not had anyone ever report an allergy or allergic reaction to Baltic amber but we have seen issues where if moisture is trapped against the skin, some kids have a hard time with that and it can produce a rash. In that case you're wanting to soak the necklace in hot water and then leave it to dry for several days before using it again. We would also suggest using it in a different location, if the rash returns the discontinue use immediately.

And of course if ever the rash persists even after removing the necklace, you're going to want to consult your doctor.

Apologies again and please let us know if you have any other questions or need anything else! :)

Thanks again,

Brian
